Betterplan Design Limited was formed in the summer of 2007 and has completed in excess of 300 projects to date (correct as of December 2011) and we have gone from strength to strength by offering excellent service, level headed thinking and great value for money. We may be a small Architectural Design practice but we have large capabilities, since forming we have taken on some very interesting schemes ranging from Barn Conversions in the Lake District National Park to Residential Housing Estates in Southern Cheshire

Our Managing Director, Michael Beech has had a long career within the Architectural discipline prior to forming the company, firstly starting off his career at a Chartered Architects based in Manchester city centre before moving into the fast paced house-building sector in 2001.

With over 15 years post qualification experience, Michael himself has worked directly for a number of large, well known North West based housebuilders including the likes of Alfred McAlpine, Taylor Wimpey, Bellway and Elite Homes. Other contributing associates have worked for leading North West Architectural practices previously.

We have a wealth of technical knowledge based primarily around housing design, but covering all construction methods and with a forward thinking approach this is always passed on to you, the client, ensuring you the best outcome for your requirements.

Added to this, our aim for 2012 is to become a practice registered and approved by the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists – www.ciat.org.uk , so there really is no need to look anywhere else.

We are not afraid to turn our hand to any project and have had many a success in other areas such as planning permission on schemes for recreation schemes in greenbelt areas, listed building conversions and renewable energy projects in National parks.
