We have just obtained Planning Permission for an apartment conversion to the first floor of a long established Toy shop in Chorley town centre allowing additional rental income from the unused storage area.

Plans resubmitted for a large new build property in the Bolton area located on side garden land. Building Control sign off agreed for another large Self build property in the Village of Higher Wheelton, Chorley which will be a fantastic house once completed, rear views to die for.

Various large home extensions approved, more Railway station surveying up in the Lake District providing topographical information for a Drainage consultants….Oh and we have also tendered for a potential Golf driving range on the Wirral. I don’t know how we fit it all in!

A busy month all told and what a better way of closing the month with a hopeful win for Manchester United in the massive derby tonight! COME ON YOU REDS!!!!

This exciting new dwelling will enable the applicants to live completely Carbon Neutral and pretty much independant of the outside world, producing their own electricity, rainwater harvesting, Ground Sourced Heating and small holding food produce including livestock. There is even talk of producing fuel for the vehicles by Rapeseed fertilization methods – FRUGAL TO THE Nth DEGREE!

Pretty interesting to say the least and we are honoured to be part of the experience, this house should be one of the first in the North West built to such exacting high standards and once functional will  be an inspiration to many. We’ll keep you posted during the construction phase with live progress.

Plenty of other projects on the go, this must be our busiest Winter period to date and we’re not grumbling!! Bring the projects on!!!

Still burning the candle at both ends to ensure deadlines are always met but looking forwards to a long weekend off this week coming. If you would like further information on any type of house type designs or building plans just give us a call!!!

Elsewhere, meetings have taken place with Chorley Council to discuss a replacement dwelling in the greenbelt which will hopefully be built to Code for Sustainable Homes Level 6 and be almost carbon neutral. This will be a first for the lancashire area and is a project which are very proud to be involved with.

Other developments being worked on include a 7 unit residential scheme in Atherton Manchester and a two unit residential scheme in Blackburn.

Various other large home extension projects currently being surveyed and drawn up. Looking forwards to the rest of the year when some of these projects commence site construction.

Our old site was built in house and was somewhat lacking but served us well up to this point so a big thanks to Alex at www.zmansolutions.co.uk for the fantastic new site. We will be adding much more content as the year progresses and current schemes are completed as this site is much more user friendly for us to add on to.
